  Brachioplasty

What Is Brachioplasty?

Brachioplasty, also known as arm lift surgery, is a procedure that can help remove unwanted fat and tighten loose and sagging skin that hangs from the arms.

Is Brachioplasty Right For Me?

Even if we’re strong and physically fit, as we age, our skin will lose its natural elasticity.  This can create loose skin that hangs unattractively from the back of the arms.  In many cases, even aggressive exercise won’t be able to resolve the problem.  If you’re bothered by flabby arms, there’s no need to hide under long-sleeved shirts any longer.  Dr. Kim has developed an advanced short-scar technique that can remove skin and fat, while concealing surgical scars entirely in the armpit.  To find out more about whether brachioplasty could be right for you, call our office today to make an appointment with Dr. Kim.

What Kind Of Results Can I Expect?

In the past, many people have shied away from brachioplasty surgery because the scars from the traditional surgery were significant and highly visible.  But now, Dr. Kim has developed a technique that, in most cases, can remove skin and fat, while concealing post-surgical scars entirely under the armpit, where they will be less noticeable.  Dr. Kim will discuss with you what kind of results you can expect given your specific anatomy and needs.

Can Brachioplasty Be Combined With Other Procedures?

Absolutely.  Brachioplasty is often combined with other body contouring procedures, such as tummy tuck, breast lift and liposuction, to achieve even better results.  Dr. Kim will discuss with you what approach can help you realize the look you desire.

How Do I Get Started?

Dr. Kim and the staff of Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists of New York and New Jersey are happy to discuss this procedure with you.  Please feel free to call for a private consultation or schedule an appointment online at one of our offices.
